Read above. While in boot camp, many of my company were illy prepared to bear arms. I doubt some were ever qualified. I sure as hell wouldn't want some of them around.
That is the way it works. Might as well train everyone and weed out those kind. Quit this bullshit of ineffective half measures that simply infringe on the right and abilty of those
that do qualify. Let us see it as it is, and train those that can, and prune those that do not measure up. Two or Three weeks of universal boot camp, psychiatric evaluation and then weapons training. Advanced training to be provided in the Militia, handgun and SemiAuto long gun training.

We can let the Jihads have their desert, we can provide all kind of support the people that do not want a Caliphate, but not an army of this nations young people. When they come here
looking for the soft target, bad news, the sheep are gone.

The guy who had a gun at the college shooting at Umpqua didn't pull his. Why? He was smart enough to know that of he were shooting when the police showed up that they would not be able to know that HE wasn't the shooter.

He very well may have decided to off himself. But if you're going around killing people and someone pulls a gun on you and you just see it, it's likely going to make you shoot at them or retreat off to somewhere else potentially saving those peoples lives that were near the gentleman concealing
