Good player but when you start handing out 5.5 for guys like that over 7 years, you are going to start trading off young players who break out and demand big raises.

A lot money and years for a guy who plays really well against us, but average against everyone else...LOL.
Short term good move though. He gives them some toughness and grit. I like that Leafs team. If Bernier is for real they will be a very good team.
