My wife and I went to see the two Toy Story movies the other day at the local theater. They've re-done them from the original files to a new 3D format.
All I can say is.... WOW. 3D movie technology has jumped leaps and bounds since I was a kid. The depth and clarity was amazing, and it was incredible how much it added to a movie that wasn't designed for 3D (with a lot of towards-the-screen action shots and moving objects).
If they can make live-action movies look that good in 3D, they can stop making 2D pictures, as far as I'm concerned.
