4/22/17 8:00PM NBC Game 6 Montreal Canadiens VS New York Rangers

Edmonton up 2 zip. Wonder what kind of changes there would be in SJ.

How did Rangers avoid a double minor on that Miller high-sticking penalty? Not that it matters at this point but a 2 min vs 4 min penalty is huge.
Have to say I was also very impressed with Radulov....as I remember he was a dog at times w/ Nashville prior to his stint in the KHL but he is a beast. Would love to have that guy in a Rangers uniform.

One thing against them will be that they are the favorites now in the next round. Everyone and their mother will expect them to win. They dont really seem to do well when they have some expectations. They do better when they face some kind of adversity.

I was a little surprised he didnt get 4 min for that too.

I'm not. If you saw the replay the stick hit the visor yet his mouth bled? I think he either bit his tongue or lip to cause blood.

I agree. I think he made the inside of his mouth bleed on that one.

Oh is that what happened? Guess not then. They were pulling out all the stops in this series.

Radulov was the best forward from either team in the series

Seemed like a funeral at the end of the game with emrick, and pierre calling the game.

I think Kreids play will be better now that he's away from all the montreal and price bullshit.

Heres hoping for a nice bruins and toronto wins today and may they continue to beat the piss out of each other while we have a nice week long rest to recuperate.

sometimes too much rest is a bad thing....but for as physical as the mtg series was a coupe extra days could be just what they need.

I'm each series there needs to be a handful of players aging great. Next series Kreider, Miller, and Hayes could go crazy

It's interesting, and I don't want to get too far ahead of myself, but I was thinking this AM which team I rather play between the Pens and Caps, and I think it is the Pens.

That may be counter to conventional thinking, but if the Caps finally get through the 2nd round and beat the Pens, they will be real tough to handle. On the flip side the Pens D isn't great, and Letang is out as well. But of course they have Malkin and Crosby, which is the great equalizer. Meanwhile as much as people talk about the Caps forward depth, they are still a 2 line team I believe.

Tough call, and WAY more hockey to play before we focus on that hopefully, I think I'd root for the Pens in 7 over the Caps. Not sure though because we do usually play the Caps much better than the Pens.

If I am not mistaken, I believe that they are 5 and 1 in the last 6 playoff series against both teams combined. But they should focus on the next series before they even think about ECF. Like I said before, when they have some kind of expectations they manage to screw it up somehow.

and btw...Is Murray coming back at all? Fleury is not as good as that guy.

Murray hasn't started skating again yet. I'll assume out of the next series as well.

LMAO worrying about Pens-Caps as opponents when the series in front of you
is the Bruins-Sens as the Rangers' next opponent. In this game, one never assumes we
win this series. Early 3rd period, Sens lead 2-1. Brassard with crucial assist helping
Sens' PP.
Looks like it will be Sens who are known to check their opponents inside their shirts!

Bruins just tied game 2-2.

Weird first round. Half the series went 5 games or less, which is unlike the NHL, but there have been a ton of OT games. And who knows, we may not even get a game 7. We'll see about that.

Figure if Boston wins in OT our series won't start until Friday. Game 7 for the Bruins/Sens would be Wednesday. 5 full days off if this goes 7.

Go Bruins!!!

OT PP goal for Ottawa so it's the Senators in round two.

Vic, the Senators will be a tough opponent for Rangers. They are disciplined and very defense-minded.......and Anderson
is very good in net. Have you noticed that Brassard is key to their PP? He with Karlsson make their PP unit go!
