in 45 mins on 17/31 shooting. 2-2 on THREES!!!! 10/13 from the line.

#lamonster #refusetolose :smiley-bowdown:

"For LaMarcus Aldridge that's like shooting over a chair." Barkley on Terrence Jones

:rotfl:

That is a stupid line. WOW.

Legit.

Game of the playoffs, though, for sure.

45+/15+ in the playoffs since 1986.

Hakeem. Shaq. Kobe. Dwight. Lebron.

And then LaMonster.

LA with his man purse now at the podium.

HAHAHA do you, bigman

The most impressive thing was how he has flipped a switch, and dominated inside. He had a few pick and pops, but he was murdering it in the paint, and going for offensive rebounds.

Last Blazer with 40 points in a playoff game? LA's old running mate, #7.

We miss you, Brandon. Your Robin has become Batman.

This is what people have been wanting from LMA all season. Attack the shit out of the paint.

I'm okay if he starts doing this in the playoffs. :)

Couldn't get 50/20?

What have you done for us lately, LA?

But, how does that compare to Kevin Love's line? What? Kevin Love is not in the playoffs? I thought Kerry Eggers told me Love was the best power forward?

They just said on Sportscenter that LA is only the second player EVER to score 40+ and grab 15+ in the first game of the playoffs on the road.

The other guy to do it?

Wilt.

So much LA love on Sportscenter. It was the opening story. They showered him with praise.

I just loved it when McHale was forced to take Dwight Howard out with the Hack-a-Dwight. They just kept on going into Aldridge who just fucking ate up the Houston defense.

It was motherfucking clinical.

I love that we had a pair of performances that were even in the same conversation as Wilt and West.

Brilliant planning. LA took advantage and was able to knock down shots/FTs. I bet we're ready for their counter-move to it, too. Always two steps ahead!
