I remember hearing this game on the radio and it was so amazing when it happened. I had never seen any video of the quarter, I was looking for some and found a little bit finally.

Here is a link if anyone hasn't seen any of it. If you have a better link please share,I wouldn't mind watching the whole quarter start to finish.

I thought of this because I was trying to think of how good this team could be for a stretch if everything went perfectly.

Good memories. This video doesn't quite do it justice, however. I remember watching that quarter and marveling at how many fast breaks the Blazers ran. Unlike this current squad, those Blazers were running maniacs. They were constantly pushing the ball down the court.

What are the odds of teams scoring 49 points with no free throws? Pretty strange (and awesome).

What I remember most about it was how awesome the first quarter was and how fast it went. Then they had to hold on and not lose, I think it got pretty close.

Ed O... it seems as though the definition of a foul has changed a lot. There are at least 10 calls a game name where the player isn't even touched now. Sad. Still... amazing that not one FT was taken. You'd think they would have gotten pissed and started hacking.
