I often over exaggerate my response for humor affect but I honestly wasn't that tilted, I just see shit like that and roll my eyes. Usually when you see me talk about shit on here, although I might sound mad when you read it, I'm not really. I just find it hilarious that people think there are more than one gender and use these pronouns. You could be right on the gender thing, I don't know though but as pointed out I think they word it differently now to include these pronouns.

Again, I wish Rep. Scalise a full recovery. But facts are facts. He did speak at an international white supremacist conference. He was praised by David Duke. And he was known as arguably the most antigay member of Congress. So I hope that during his recovery he does have time to think. Not necessarily change his politics (unlikely) but realize that two people did not hesitate for a second when they needed to protect him. Realize that people are people regardless of ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation and all deserving of the same respect and human rights.

And I hope that just once, just ONCE, we can have a thread without people being called "retards" and other shit. Probably unlikely.

I don't know much about him honestly, I would have to research all this stuff, it's the fact that with what you said you bring your own personal shit into it, your own agenda, "African Americans, and gays". Like okay what does that have to do with him getting shot. I'm sure after getting shot he will rethink whatever past decisions he made, shit I don't know if it was me I would be thankful to be alive and probably be more happy to see my family but to you it's like "oh yeah I hope that's what he thought about", for fucks sake I don't think anybody who gets shot and is in critical condition is sitting there like fuck man I should probably rethink these ideas in my head. One of them is a biological woman that identifies as a man. I treat him like any bro i know. He hasn't corrected me yet so i assume he is ok with it.

I guess that's where we are different. Sorry I refuse to call somebody something that isn't real besides their name or gender. I'm not gonna go along with what somebody wants to be called because that's delusional and isn't good for society at all.

There are cases where there were kids so sexually violated for so long that they refuse to identify as anything for fear of being abused again. Sometimes what a person identifies themselves as is done out of fear and/or protection. Out of deep physical and mental scars. It's not done to inconvenience or confuse you. It's not about you. They're not telling you which gender you should be. Let people be what they feel they need to be.

I don't have a problem with that. It's when they want special treatment/classification under the law or by society, and tax payer money for sex change operations that I draw the line.

That right there is the issue with western society these days. We allow too much which opens up for even more craziness. People can do what they want, I don't give a shit, as long as you're cool to me, I'm cool to you. The issue is, I'm not gonna sit here and call you something different than your name or gender. I'm not gonna play make believe at 25. Im not gonna refer to you as your preferred pronoun because what's it's about these days is pure control and it's destroying a lot of things about western society that made it great. It's a scary thing. That's how you get evergreen college or any other of these places that let you get away with anything. Saying "it's not about you" is ignorant. So what? It's always supposed to be about the other person? Shouldn't it be a shared respect? It's not about one person and their past. For fucks sake I have had shitty things happen in my past, I'm not gonna use that to my advantage and play victim my whole life because I'm not and people in America aren't, as much as they want you to believe. I think this country is very disconnected about what's going on in certain parts of the world. We are so safe here that people have begun to start complaining about everything and looking for things to be mad about and safe spaces, etc. we are too safe, no real threats, we get food wherever and whenever, we don't have to hunt or survive. I think there are real issues with mental illness in America and this whole pronoun and gender nonsense, is a part of it. It's absolute nonsense. Very well said. I stopped bullshitting myself in my 20s, and I refuse to support other people's delusions just because of the way they "feel", or because it hurts their feelings.

If you have a penis, you are a man. If you have a vagina, you are a woman. It's that simple.

If you want me to address you with another gender than the one you were born with, then I can do that during social occasions; no problem. But don't ask for my tax money or special treatment. You are not entitled to it.

It's not disrespecting me, i never said that at all. This is the same thing Jordan's Peterson is fighting for. He refuses to call certain students by their pronouns because it's currently destroying society right now. im just not gonna play pretend, that's crazy. These people want some special treatment and they aren't getting it from me, maybe from you and others but not me, i refuse to participate in nonsense, it's simple. It's like me saying I don't care what people do with their lives isn't enough for you, now it's "call them what they wanna be called or you're just an asshole". I mean it's working. The control, the nonsense. It's clearly working. Imagine me showing up to the forum every day expecting you to call me something and refer to me as it every day and sometimes I might switch it up on you. Then if you don't call me it I can complain about it. It's what these people do and it's nonsense. It's all about control and it's a mental illness. This shit didn't exist 10 years ago and it's made up all of a sudden and now we all should just go with it. Naw, that's what happened with nazi Germany, etc. not saying it's anywhere on that level but the foundation is there. Ultimate control and getting people to say and do whatever, having power, believing in nonsense

Whenever I refer to Caitlyn Jenner to my girlfriend because she used to be super into that stupid show back in the day, I don't call him a her. I just don't. I joke around to her about Bruce and it makes no fucking sense. Deep into your 60's you decide your a woman, oh now you're woman of the year and so brave, excuse me but that shits a slap in the face to women and it's a whole what the fuck to your brain. That's Bruce fucking Jenner, who is Caitlyn Jenner? It's just so confusing. But we aren't supposed to ask questions or have opinions about it because it's just what they want to be now and what they wanna be called and known as. We've had a forum member who changed the gender they identified as. I only met them when they were a dude and he was a really nice dude. Asking me not to call her a dude anymore wasn't controlling me at all. It wasn't a big deal and it didn't make her suddenly a Nazi.

If she did suddenly want to be called a dude again it wouldn't bother me either.

And just because you don't agree with how someone views them self doesn't make them mentally ill.
