There is no point trading for Irving from Blazers perspective. Best case scenario, if we traded CJ or Dame for him (which we would need to to get him), e would MAYBE make us marginally better (and most likely he wouldn't even do that).
I think he will go to Phoenix. They are capable of putting together the best trade package. He probably wants to go to New York but they will find it hard to find a deal good enough for Cavaliers. Maybe Anthony + Ntilikina/Hernangomez + first round picj but Anthony apparently doesn't even want to go there. New York with Irving and Porzingis would be nice though, I am going to NY for over a week in January and staying 200 meters from Madison Square Garden so even more reason to want this for me (I cannot wait for that trip!!).
