I agree with you. But if Roy is able to play, he will be there in the 4th, and that will take an adjustment period to get familiar with Roy's ISO vs the currents team ball movement. Both players and coaches.

This is definitely a concern. I am really, really pulling for Roy and the coaching staff to look for ways integrate him effectively into the current offense rather than try to revert back to the ISO's he's accustomed to... I think this is both possible and (if done right) potentially effective. Trying to go back to the "seven seconds or Roy" days would likely be a recipe for failure.

Mixum . . . you are never afraid to make a bold prediction about how the Blazers will fall apart.

But when it comes to a prediction that the Blazers may do better we get statements like "playoff hopes rise with Gay out" . . . you think?

I will make the mixum prediction of the day comment: No way Griz make the playoffs now!

In all honesty there's 3 playoff spots for 5 teams.

Any of the 5 could get the 3 spots. Blazers, nuggets, jazz, grizz, suns.With gay out and the suns defense I'd say grizz and suns miss out.

With as streaky as NO has been and Okafor on the shelf, I don't think they are a lock for the playoffs. I say 7 teams (houston and NO) are in the hunt for 4 spots.
