The Blazers are 8-2 when Miller starts.

Blazers only have 1 loss in the past two years when the trail-breakers perform!

...maybe it is time they switch things up and start Blake :dunno:

What's our record when Bayless scores 10+? Yeesh, nevermind... he scored a ton against the Knicks and Jazz, too.

3-2 this year, 4-3 last year

The Blazers are 163-191 with Nate as our head coach.

3rd worst winning% of any non interim coach. He trails only Roland Todd, our expansion team coach and Jack McCloskey the coach directly following the expansion team.

What a fun game.

Sorry to semi hijack this thread Schilly. Miller should have been starting from day 1 of training camp.

Lenny Wilkens is also behind him. His percentage is largely affected by taking over a horrible team looking to completely rebuild. But what difference does that really make to your agenda, right?

Lenny Wilkens .457
Nate McMillan .451

At least my post was factual

163-191 record = .460 winning percentage.

At least my math is accurate.

ah She-it!!!! (gangster way of saying Shit) MATH FIGHT BITCHES!!!!! ;)

100% correct. I was looking at his winning % from the beginning of the season. .460 is a lot better than .451

I think Schilly's initial point is actually pretty relevant. He's averaging about 3.5 mpg more in Blazer wins than in Blazer losses, too. This isn't one of Minstrel's sandwiches.

The Blazers are 7-7 when Brandon leads or ties for lead in points.

The Blazers are 8-3 when Brandon leads or ties for lead in assists.

Start Miller and have Brandon create for teammates = better winning %

That's why some of think Bayless or Rudy would be the best back court mate for Brandon.

Either one is fine with me if they trade Miller. I always wanted to see Roy and Rudy start together. I'm a fan of taller players in the back court. If we're not going to be good defenders, why not have the height advantage on offense?

What was our record when Nate took over. Has it gotten better each season? Hmm... You're silly.

You know if you take that Albatross around his neck which is AKA "His first season coaching here", his record isn't that bad. I am not a Nate fan, just stating the facts.

If we're talking record, though, I think a more relevant stat would be:

Blazers 1-0 with Miller starting in a non-three-guard line-up. Perfect so far!

You're right. A top 10 player in the NBA would have nothing to do with that. It's all Nate.

Then why judge any coach by their record, when it ha more to do with the players? What's the point of mocking his record, but then say the wins are all a product of a top 10 player. If that's the case, let's knock Phil Jackson down a few pegs, since he's always had a top 2 or 3 player on his team. That's ridiculous.

miller has only started against two teams with a .500 or better record.

whats the record against those 2 out of curiousity? I am not asking to call you out. I actually am curious.

win against the spurs, loss to the hawks.

8-2 obviously is a nice record, but i think the competition does need to be taken into account as well.
