Went to the Doctor yesterday so I could make the gf's nagging stop. Doctor determined I have second degree sunburns on my shoulders & biceps.
She says nothing I didn't already know. Basically will be fine as long as I keep it from getting infected. & Drink lots of water to replace the fluid loss.

Will say this is literally some of the worst pain I've ever felt.
They say don't wear sunblock when you play basketball because the ball will get slippery.
I say idgaf, second degree burns hurt like hell. Wear sunscreen.

farmers remedy from back in the day.....put a lot of vinegar in a bath and soak in it....best sunburn relief ever but you'll smell like a kosher dill for a stretch

I believe kosher dills are mostly salt based - there is a little bit of vinegar in there but not enough to smell like it. The vinegar dill stuff is nasty and not technically kosher dills.

my mom made apple cider vinegar for our sunburn soaks....any old vinegar will do! I disagree about kosher dills.....the one's I eat float in vinegar and dill..but vinegar is the sunburn relief tonic in any form.

It's starting to heal. Monday the burn will prolly be gone.
