hooooly crap, he's only 15...he might grow another foot this is insanity, what the hell is his total wingspan like 20 feet???I had 5 sudanese refugees that went to my high school and not one of them was under 6 foot 6, their people are so freakin tall, it's amazing.

He won't be able to play basketball, he's too tall. He's probably really slow with slow lateral movements and not to mention he's not done growing. He's a giant injury problem waiting to happen.

I seriously doubt it...Let's say he gets to 8'5" or so, he would just get owned in the NBA because he wouldn't be able to run fast enough.

well if he managed to get food (which obviously is a problem in sudan) and bulked up (which is the problem with most 7'+ players) then they could just park him in the lane or use him for defense. I personally am not a big fan of pure height, i mean look at sean bradley, but still, plenty get drafted based on height and 'potential'

This guy is 8 inches taller than Yao Ming right now, the picture doesn't do him justice. He'll probably grow 3 or so more inches considering he's only 15 years old. That's about a foot taller than Yao Ming. I just can't see him playing basketball, it would be more of a freak show than anything else. Scouts are not as dumb as they were 4 or so years ago, they have now realized that these 7'8" guys just don't work and turn out to be a waste of time. No way this guy ends up in the NBA, it just wouldnt happen, Im sure his movements would be awkward and slow and that he wouldnt be able to get low enough to stay with his opponent on defense..

if he's not a lanky mofo. That's many of the really tall players problems. That's why Ben Wallace can have more of a presence than many taller centers. You need to be a beast as a C, and height alone won't do that for you. It all depends on whether he can develop an NBA type build and not just NBA type height.

You cant compare this guy to anyone thats playing though. Hes a good two feet taller than most players in this league right now. I dont think its possible for him to be taht tall without being lanky. I think its easier for a shorter player (sub 6 feet) to succeed in the NBA than a taller player (over 7'4)..

A guy like that will never make it, because he's too tall, and his bones can't handle it. We've seen ti with George Marushalasdkasldj and Shawn Bradley: They simply couldnt' move, and were mediocre basktball palyers. Even Yao Ming has trouble. And we all saw Minute Bol...
