Who is blaming Obama? Jesus christ people..... read my post.
I was merely pointing out that if this had happened during Bush's presidency, he would have received personal backlash. I can guarantee it. Yet, because it was during Obama's Presidency, there was no mention of Obama's name other than a brief message that he was not on the plane. It's no more Obama's fault than it would have been Bush's fault. I'm just illustrating a point.
I don't know if he should. It's not like it's his car and he's lending it out to people to drive.
How is that even relevant?I find it somewhat comical that the writer inserted "supersonic" before talking about the fighter jet.
a) all US military fighters (F-15, F-16, F-18, F-22, F-35) with the exception of the F-117 Stealth Fighter, are supersonic-capable jets.
b) Since the 747 it was following tops out at about Mach .84, the jet wouldn't be going supersonic.
c) In fact, if it did, half of the windows in NYC would've been blown out, and then I'd imagine you have a real panic.
Why do writers do this?
When I was at the coast I was flipping through the channels and I accidentally stopped on Fox for a second... must have dropped the remote or something... but in the 5 seconds I was there I heard them mocking Obama for flying a jet to an Earth day something... you have got to be fucking kidding me... seriously... wtf
Actually, it's very much like that. That airplane is reserved exclusively for POTUS, and it exists only to transport him around. If it's going to be "loaned out" for any purpose, I would think the President would need to sign off on it.I don't know if he should. Sorry, I just had this image of President Obama in the WH residence looking under the couch cushions and saying, "Michelle, have you seen the keys to Air Force One? I hope the girls haven't taken it out joyriding again."

This is what Bush's pictures look like, nobody killed him. They would of had to find him first, he was too busy hiding.

While you are correct Barfo, do you not agree that Bush would have somehow been given some of the blame for this, had he been in office?
