I was surprised to hear that Prince is nearly 30 years old. I know that he's basically in his prime right now, but what happens 2-3 years down the line when everyone else is hitting their stride and Prince is deteriorating?

A part of me would like to see Rudy flourish as a super sub while seeing Batum develop into Prince 2.0. The other part of me would like to see us win a title within the next few years and Prince is the kind of guy that MIGHT be able to get us over the hump.

However, I'd probably do it for Webster (as much as I like him) and Travis + the 24th.

Prince has got to be the most over-rated player in the history of the league, and would bring us nothing we don't already have even if we got him free.

Nobody on the Blazers would trade Rudy or Travis for Prince, let alone both of them.

Rudy, Outlaw and Prince are very close to one another in everything but minutes played. I would have never guessed.

I'd rather play Batum 30-35 minutes. Especially if he improves, which he's almost sure to do.

Prince is still a good player, just not better enough than Batum to be worth trading for.

But a really surprising stat....Portland's ranked #2 in the league in opposing PG FG%.

I was going to say 30 but then I remembered he only played about 18 a game last year, and it seemed like Nate went even sooner and more with the Blake, Rudy, Roy lineup. I just don't know if he will come in again after the first rotation of each half, but I sure would like to see it.

I would say because our PFs and centers had to help off their men fairly often, resulting in lower PG % and higher big man %, but I don't really know, its just a guess

You know what's really weird about it? A PER of 15 is average. That was pretty much the PER of all three guys. I would have assumed Prince and Rudy would be above that and Outlaw below that.

If you look at his whole career Outlaw has a PER of 15.1. I would have assumed it was around 12 or so. Odd, to say the least.

Not odd at all, imho - his offense is very nice, especially for a bench player.

Outlaw's problem is paying attention on defense all the time (not shown in PER).

It also depends on how you want to read that. Portland was also ranked in the bottom half of the league in PER differential at point guard, where opposing players averaged around 16 PER or so. To me that tells me we allowed a lot of assists and dribble penetration from that spot.
