When it's warranted, it's warranted. I mean, come on. In this day of Google, I can look up pretty much anything about anything in a matter of seconds. And it's not rocket science. To come on here and piss and moan about his only option of listening/watching Blazer games to be at the whim of some internet geek at "The Game" is both ignorant and untrue, and I'm not the kind of person that let's that kind of shit slide when I KNOW that with the smallest of effort, he could have solved his own problem in a matter of minutes.

I mean, for god's sake, he could pay a hundred bucks and WATCH every Blazer game on his PC with League Broadband pass. Or pay 8 bucks a month for Sirius-XM and use their web streamer to listen to all the Blazer games he wants with no interruptions or problems. But no, he wants to just bitch about the freebee, easy situation that he's convinced himself is the only option.

In my judgement, that qualifies as an idiot or a moron.

Hey Einstein, I'm talking about the post game show. Not the game itself. I get the game just fine from NBA.com. But they cut the feed as soon as the game is over. 95.5 doesn't pick up the feed until much, much later.

Let me get this straight. You are pissing and moaning because I'm pissing and moaning, right. [deleted] At least I have a reason to complain. If you don't like my thread, don't read it.

Cool, the second addition to my ignore list. It is definitely warranted.

Here's the latest:

I emailed Steve Scott (He's the advertising guy with the only email address I can find on their website" yesterday, sending him the link to this thread.

He replied very promptly this morning with:

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I will make sure that this gets to the right people.

Thanks,

Steve Scott

Bless you, Steve Scott!!

I want to be very clear that I love listening to their station, in fact I find it very upsetting when I can't get my Wheels post game fix. My beef is with the person/persons that are supposed to be putting the show back on the web after the game. That culprit should be made to listen to an hour of their canned nonstop advertising. I guarantee he will be foaming at the mouth after 10 minutes, and will promise to never do it again.

I am glad you got some kind of satisfaction from the whole situation. See, I can be not a complete asshole at times. I warned you people when I came over from BBB.net :)

I would think it's in 95.5's best interest to correct this situation. I mean, why bother having an internet feed if people can't hear it because someone forgot to turn it on? If their goal is to drive listeners elsewhere, it's working.

Also, what's with the lack of a "contact us" page on their web site? It's like they go out of their way to avoid getting feedback from their listeners. Wouldn't such feedback help improve their product and help gain marketshare? Which would allow them to charge higher advertising rates. Their total lack of commitment to customer support seems to be the biggest stumbling block to their continued success.

I agree completely. The Blazer marketing dept. should be all over this. With the blazers getting as good as they are, there has to be a huge market of fans outside the immediate listening area that is not being tapped... for no good reason.

Funny, there's a huge market of fans INSIDE the immediate area that can't see the games on TV, let alone the post-game shows, for no good reason. Which problem do you think the Blazers' marketing department wants dealt with first? I doubt they care about either.

Repped and you're preaching to the choir.

That problem is not so easily fixed, the blazers already signed the contract with Comcast. My problem is easily fixed, just throw the damned switch right after the game ends.

The contact link that Boobs mentioned is also an easy fix, just add the pertinent link to their website.

Your point is well taken though.

Yay!!! It only took them 10 minutes after the NY game to turn on the feed. I'm extremely happy!

More than 20 minutes after the Toronto game.... they finally throw the switch for the internet feed. Wheels is signing off now. I've missed his whole post game show again.

I've e-mailed Dick Vardanega about the problem and he assured me that he would put Rich Patterson on it. If you wish to e-mail Mr. Vardanega, his e-mail address is dick.vardanega@blazers.com. He appears to be more than willing to help.

Re: 95.5 The Fan == Idiots
