Let me splain it to ya another way, then.
I've been called a racist in here by more people than I can count. They don't know me from Adam. They don't know my character. They don't know my life. Nothing. Yet, I'm a racist to them. Why? I voted for Trump? I'm not fully sold on BLM? I mean, really. I was simply pointing out that it's super easy to label someone (whatever) on a message board even though there is absolutely nothing to substantiate that claim.
OK, going back. Following this post....
I flippantly called you a racist. You can call it A: being funny if you'd like.
From what I can tell, this post of mine was deleted:
Meaning, actually, that I don't think you're a racist by any stretch. To call you one, though, is just a flick of a few fingers on a keyboard. Believe me, I can relate. Oh, and I also called Sly a sexist....just because.![]()
I get the point you were trying to make. It did seem a bit arbitrary. But, I guess Julius's joke did too about HCP.
Glad you were being flippant, but even so let's be careful with the use of that word. If someone is posting obviously racist remarks here then it should be called out.
If someone is just arbitrarily calling someone a racist that is different and we mods don't take kindly to that.
I myself have used the word once or twice in referring to a poster here or rather their post(s). I try to be careful with it. I know I called one of your past posts about Kamala Harris racist. Another time when a different post of yours was called racist by some posters here, I actually defended you because I reviewed it and didn't believe it was racist. So, it goes both ways. I think there have been times when your posts have been called racist and you didn't deserve it and other times when they did come off racist.
I think we all need to be responsible for what and how we post and for the words we use. We need to be intentional in what we say.
