Oh my god...I think this is one of the best movies I have EVER seen. I just finished watching it. It came out in 1993. It's a plot that tough to explain because there is so many things going on. But, basically it's about this kid who has a hard-working father(Robert DeNiro) who is a busdriver and hasn't been too successful. But on the other hand, this mob boss is like his father figure since he was little. So, he has 2 father figures, who dispuise eachother, but both look out for the Kid. Most of the plot happens in the 60's. The kid(His name is C) falls in love with a black girl, where at that time, with his Italian friends etc. Wasn't right. But he really loved her. He struggles with this and the hate between whites and blacks. Along with that, his mobster friends and overprotective father. The ending was incredible, and this movie touched me.

Also, I just realized that Tupac most likely got the idea to read the Machiavelli books in prison from this movie. The Mob Boss, Sonny, talks about how he read Machiavelli works in prison.EDIT: And this movie was released before pac was sentenced.

One of my favorite movies of all time, I have been raving about this on BBW for awhile now. It's a great mob movie, but it gets overlooked all the time.
