You gotta put "Come At Me Bro" on this one!

Ain't no way Kyrie will take a qualifying offer when he's offered a max. I could see him asking for an early opt out like Bron/Deron etc, but he's not gonna pass up all that guaranteed money. Especially with his injury history.

So in short, he isn't leaving CLE for a while.

Turn in your Blazer fandom card. Don't ever mention that rapist fuck and our team in the same sentence ever again.

Never said I wanted him on my team. But it wouldn't surprise me if he wanted to land here. I'm sure he has heard a lot about this town (fan base), organization, owner by someone he really respects in Steve Blake. That and you wonder if there are any connections there from McGowan and Olshey. That being said, he has a no trade clause and I really doubt the Busses will let him go.

It's great that players want to play here, but we got no cap room until possibly 2015

Bryant is going to be paid $48.5 million over the next two seasons after this one. It's the dumbest contract in sports right now, considering the salary cap restrictions on player movement. Why would anyone take on that contract?

They still have their amnesty, right?

You can't amnesty an extension signed after the last CBA.

It's the dumbest contract in sports, bar none.

Yeah, I think you'd have a hard time finding someone who disagrees with you.

Not only why, but how? If Kobe wanted to come here for the exception and win a ring, I might consider it. It would make no sense to decimate our team to acquire his ridiculous contract.

Yeah, that's what i thought too. I thought the amnesty clause couldn't be used anymore anyway.

It wouldn't surprise me if Portland took two or three of their young players and turned them into one of those all stars in the off season. Something similar to what happened to bring Pippen in years ago. 5 or 6 for one but in this case Barton, McCollum Leonard, Claver and Maybe a Matthews just for salary reasons.

They don't have much in the way of roster spots. Free agent money is limited. They don't have any draft picks. So they will have to be creative to improve. Do you think a team that has succombed to idea to rebuild would look at relinquishing a Kobe type in return for younger, up and coming assets?

Or.

They can just sit on what they have and see how much the younger guys grow.

I bet the two are Carmelo and John Wall.

It would have to be an aging All-Star. Someone like Dwyane Wade. If LeBron DID leave Miami, I could see the Heat dealing Wade.

I guess Wall would be a sixth man player on the Blazers. We are so attracted to our starting five that they are all untouchable.

I keep reminding myself to take your posts with a grain of salt... :dunno:
