OT A Formal Apology

whilst i agree with some here, that you shouldnt apologise for being yourself, if version you are knowingly putting out here is a tangent from the norm and you're doing it for the lolz or someshit, well that's just part of it and you take that on as choosing to do it - people either can deal or they cant.

this is a forum on the net discussing a sports team. its not that serious. on either side.

tbh i have had zero problems with anyone thats ever posted here that many many people have lost their shit over either via disagreeing or being unable to NOT read their posts and NOT be constantly butthurt and NOT to moan about it.

I finally took a post serious, being called a liar, and realized that this defamation of my character, regardless of whether it is true or not, is of my own doing.

Though I do believe it to be very serious when discussing another persons honesty and that shouldn't be joked with (all we really have in life is our word), I have no one to blame for this but myself.

I apologize to all for my behavior, thinking everyone else was having fun, just because I was.

I will always be a jokester and take very little serious. This is me and if you have met me in person, you know this. However, on this forum, I will no longer try to be the forum comedian, and will work on improving my communication with other members to help provide a lighter atmosphere.

Again, If you are one who has been annoyed by my antics and not entertained, I apologize. That was not my intent.

Well then you aren't understanding. OB isn't a malicious guy and isn't know for acting a certain way. I am sure whatever he tried in his comedy relief on here wasn't an intent to offend anybody. In that case, don't apologize. He is being himself. Now if you are a malicious person or person trying to actively hurt somebody, that's different.

I mean it goes without saying if you really did try to hurt somebody or said something terrible then yeah apologize. OB isn't that dude though so I thought what I said was assuming he was a good guy which he is and I haven't seen him be like that towards anybody, he just tries to be funny. In that case, don't apologize. I would never apologize for jokes I know isn't bad or something I said I know isn't bad and somebody claims being offended.

I don't need you to correct my understanding or help me understand one thing.

Bottom line:

No one is perfect. No one is always right. Own your shit and apologize when you're wrong.
