Wow, thank God I live in Flint, Michigan, not this dangerous hellhole:

Tell everyone you know about all the rain and how it gets down your neck and is cold and miserable. Do not, I repeat, do not glorify Oregon lest we get inundated with people with obscene habits such as not recycling and no respect for mother Earth.

Edit: fixed spelling error.

These people really are barking up the wrong tree, because if it were to eventually turn into open warfare, "the other side" has all the guns.

They wouldn't even have any of the minority groups with them:

Whites are ever so slightly less likely than average to believe that political correctness is a problem in the country: 79 percent of them share this sentiment. Instead, it is Asians (82 percent), Hispanics (87percent), and American Indians (88 percent) who are most likely to oppose political correctness. As one 40-year-old American Indian in Oklahoma said in his focus group, according to the report:

It seems like everyday you wake up something has changed … Do you say Jew? Or Jewish? Is it a black guy? African-American? … You are on your toes because you never know what to say. So political correctness in that sense is scary.

The one part of the standard narrative that the data partially affirm is that African Americans are most likely to support political correctness. But the difference between them and other groups is much smaller than generally supposed: Three quarters of African Americans oppose political correctness. This means that they are only four percentage points less likely than whites, and only five percentage points less likely than the average, to believe that political correctness is a problem.

Just don't insult any large peaceful group and you will be politically correct. That's not too tough to do, is it?

But that's the whole problem. Who the hell knows what is offensive anymore? That's what changes regularly.

The most recent ridiculous thing is the "Don't Tread On Me" flag from the Revolutionary War is now considered racist.

https://www.oregonlive.com/pacific-...f/2018/10/central_oregon_mans_dont_tread.html

A central Oregon man is suing his homeowners association for the right to display a “Don’t Tread On Me” flag that has offended his neighbors.

James R. Boyd III, 68, has been hanging the Revolutionary-era flag, seen by some as a symbol of racism, from a window of his La Pine home for at least a year.

That has riled the Wild River Owners' Association, which warned Boyd last fall that it was going to start fining him $10 for every day he left the banner up because it violates association rules.

My understanding is that some consider it racist because racists have been using it in recent times. See "Pepe the Frog" for an additional example.

I think guns are much more pervasive than just on one side. Sure, I’m not some antifa dick but’s left doesn’t mean Im anti gun. I do lean left and I have guns. I’d say half of my left-leaning friends have guns. One friend just sold 4 so he’s down to 21 firearms, just because people are on left doesn’t mean they are anti firearm, just they might think some common sense regulations and restrictions would benefit society.

I’m guessing there are a lot of antifa with AR’s and all sorts of other firearms. They do believe in fighting and violence and many think a war is coming. I’m guessing a bunch of them are stockpiling the same as any righty might.

And the "OK" gesture

I'm guessing that's pretty much a Righty thing.

You are guessing wrong, somewhat. Sure, the right is more like that but I know a lot of people on the left who own guns. They just typically don’t make it a central feature to their personality. I went to the range a couple years back with a group of 5 other dues. All left of center. All owned at least 3 firearms and one guy (with dreadlocks) had been a competitive shooter.

I have left of center friends too, Im right of center I guess. If the left gets anymore extreme and talk about second amendment changes or Sanders or Blumenthal run for president, than my blue buds will vote another way.

What about their right-of-center friend? Is there any extremity that the right could go to to have him vote another way?

Sure, if things go to hell on the economy and constitutional rights. If Trump gets to off the rails which could happen. But if the dems come with a socialist Democrat no way.
Mid western dems will not go that far left.
The dem from Ohio would be a good choice.

Was in Shithole Portland again Wednesday.

Just keeps getting worse. Drove by city crews cleaning up dumptruck loads of shit and garbage at the I-205 and Division ramps as dozens of bums wandered off into citizens' back yards. Came back by an hour later and even though they were still picking up the mess, the cops had left so the bums were setting their tents back up on the same spot.

First time I've seen the Right criticize Bernie over guns.

In every debate, with Hillary calling for gun measures, Bernie bit his lip and never took the bait. Anti-gun Democrats criticized him a lot for his silence on the gun issue. He's the best you will find among Democrats, for this issue which is apparently so central to your life.

What I said was if the left get any more extreme and talk about second amendment changes, or Sanders and Blum run for president.
I realize Bernie like's to play it safe with respect the second.
And its not central to my life, just damn important. Is that ok?

If Bernie becomes President, you will see practically no changes in gun laws, pro or con. He's a moderate Republican on that issue.

I know of one Lefty who's a firearm nut. The rest are all Righties including my two favorite hunting partners.

I own two firearms but don't consider myself unusually drawn to them. I haven't fired my firearms in decades either in hunting, a gun range or even plunking in decades. Of course it's difficult for me to walk or stand for more than a few seconds these days.

You were in the wrong part of town.

You were in the wrong part of town.

Most of the town is the wrong part of town though.

Most any place on the east side is infiltrated by sloppy bums that don't clean up after themselves. Every overpass over 205 is packed. Spring water trail. Every park i drive by... even the tiny on right where washington splits with stark around 106th street. Bums even camped out there. Trash in the fountain.

So glad im out of that pile of shit.

Kate brown needs to pull her head put of her ass on this and the antifa shit.

Can we please take back our streets and give them back to the law abiding citizens???
