I know of one Lefty who's a firearm nut. The rest are all Righties including my two favorite hunting partners.

I own two firearms but don't consider myself unusually drawn to them. I haven't fired my firearms in decades either in hunting, a gun range or even plunking in decades. Of course it's difficult for me to walk or stand for more than a few seconds these days.

I guess we are viewing it somewhat the same. There are plenty of guns in lefty households but they still tend towards reform and don’t attach their guns to the core of their existence.

And the Springwater trail that has been improved, was improved during Trumps admin.. so... if you wanna have them move into a politicians front yard, I vote Obama's or Kate Browns.

Most of the whole West side, including the suburbs, is good. Then there is the Laurelhurst area, the Sellwood area, the Reed neighborhood that are pretty good on the East side. Those are just off the top of my head. Anyone who thinks most of Portland is bad, needs a sanity check.

I've driven up and down Williams avenue with absolutely no problems ever.

The last time I had a problem in Portland was in 1965.

Oh come on now. I drive on I-205 about once a month from my home in Lake Oswego to my in-laws in Vancouver near Camas and I see very few campers under overpasses. Don't exaggerate.

Yes, there are many more dangerous streets in other cities. But the homeless are all over the place here. And many of them toss Antifa masks on when it fits their agendas. And many more leave mass trash behind and have no regard to the land they are camping on.

From my point of view, antifa (and their opponents Patriot Prayer/Proud Boys) isn't much of a real problem.

Possibly Wheeler could do more about the homeless - but what would that entail? Do you want to build housing for them? Incarcerate them? Hassle them until they leave town? Drug treatment? Mental illness treatment? Euthanize them? Give them jobs?

I don't see a workable solution, other than to make Portland so unpleasant for them that they go elsewhere. And that will be quite difficult, as these are people whose lives are pretty unpleasant already. Maybe climate change is the answer - if we get much hotter summers and much colder winters, it may be easier to go elsewhere.

Wheeler is just following Brown's lead and deliberately inciting and feeding violence to create a political atmosphere of anarchy desired by the DNC and it's Genuine Nazi owner George Soros, and it's fully in her power and her executive responsibility/duty to send in the OSP and/or National Guard troops to keep the peace when the Mayor refuses to do his job or is too incompetent to do it.
