Well I doubt I would've got 5 times face value for my heat tickets on stubhub if the game wasn't actually sold out.

Could you see that at home? I was at the Rose Garden and could see it clearly was a sellout. Even tonight, there was no question it was a sellout - the top rows were as full as any other.

in all sports tickets sold is what they care about. if you show up or not is just gravy, but reported attendance is always tickets sold.

Teams will give away tickets to charities if they are a few hundred short of a sell out, that happens all the time. As for this season I know about 5 couples with season tickets who almost don't go to games anymore because it hasn't been fun for weeks.

And I know there are tons of scalpers that probably end up eating a lot of their tickets, but make their money on the Laker and Heat type games. But the games are still sold out. The Blazers can't do anything about people not showing up. Well, they can win, but I mean the sales people, they sold the tickets. Because a scalper bought them and can not re-sell them, they can't just print more to get people in the building.

Well, I have season tickets, and I dont go to all the games. When I don't go, my seats are empty yet my tickets are already paid for. Its a "sell out" crowd, not a "capacity" crowd.

Oh, and yeah. The blazers picked a perfect time to send out renewal emails and playoff ticket purchases. First, there will be no playoffs so why take my money for games that wont be played? Second, why would I want to shell out money for this product?
