People see all the kids in highschool now walking around wearing earbuds attached to their phones and we judge them.

That modern stuff may be stunting them in some way we can't measure but they are not all morons. Maybe it is making them smarter, who's to say?

It's not even based off a political standpoint. YouTube doesn't know how to monitor their biggest channels and when something like a suicide victim gets uploaded, THEN they take some reactionary, over-the-top measurements in terms of censorship in policy. Measures that will fuck over some, but wont apply to those who cause the website issues in the first place, allowing those that toe the line to upload more suspect content that disuades advertisers, leading to more drastic measures. It's a domino effect. It's bullshit.

Basic issue is they don't want to die while trying to get an education.
After the threat on McMinnville High school last month I had a 2nd grader ask me the day before the supposed threat.
'Am I going to die tomorrow?'
Even he knew the basic issue.

These kids had a 17min walkout earlier this month. They were told to stay in school and get an education.
Now they are gathering on a god damn Saturday for what they believe in. Yet they're being told the exact same bullshit.
Doesn't seem like this issue is going away.

“A private security guard shooting two teenagers who tried to rob a 7-Eleven in Gardena went viral this week. The footage, captured on a Saturday night late last month, shows two 16-year-old males in hoodies enter the store with their hands in their sweatshirt pockets. Soon after, one hops over the front counter — nearly tripping in the process — and pulls out what appears to be a weapon.

The cashier drops some money and puts his hands up as the teen moves him away from the register. The second suspect then joins them behind the counter. Moments later, a security guard walks in, raises his gun and fires three shots, striking both suspects.

"It's fake!" one of the teens shouts, presumably about his weapon.

"Oh, well," the guard replies. "Mine's real." The guard held the two suspects until Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies arrived and arrested the pair. They were treated for non-life-threatening injuries and booked on suspicion of robbery. The Sheriff's Department said the guard was sitting in his car when he saw the pair enter the store. When he walked in, the guard saw one suspect pointing what appeared to be a gun at the cashier. Fearing for the cashier's life, he opened fire, officials said. The fact that this dude thinks people marched to get IG attention is silly. Most kids that only care about IG attention arent going to go march for hours to try and get likes. IG wasnt around when you were in high school, @Cippy91, so I'm guessing you don't understand how social media affects high schools. Kids that seek IG attention are too lazy to even think about using a protest and March for attention. Most kids don't care about a public protest so it doesnt garner them attention anyway. These kids have been asking for change since Feb 14th. It's now a month later and they're still asking for change.
