Oh, c'mon. Everyone gets outcoached by Mo. The way he puts his head in his hands is devastating.

I say we fire Nate and offer Coach K the biggest coaching contract in the history of coaching contracts.

jj barrea fucking killed us, i nnly watched the last 8 minutes or so, and he got around 10 points and 5 assists, holy shit.

Dont want him fired, but I am very tired of our set player rotation. He subs the same players in at the exact same time every game. No need to scout us, we all know when Sergio in going to come in, and then 2 minutes later lets send Rudy in. Also why when Nate pulls a plyer he refuses toput them back in if they were having a great game. LMA will be on fire, but Nate pulls him and waits forever to put a player back in. What ever happened to the days of getting a quick rest and seeing if they are still on fire.

I specifically remember two games threads where people were asking how someone could be wide open for 3's when we were in man and the guy in the corner was getting the ball swung to him.

I also recall the thread where people were upset about zone. And the thread with people complaining about our offense. And the thread where people were complaining about the substitution patterns. The complaints never end, no matter who our head coach has been.

So what I'm gathering from this game is that people wished we didn't switch screens. Are they suggesting that we hedge them (which Greg and Travis do a horrible job at)? Do they want us to go under the screen, giving wide open threes? Do they want us to fight over the top, allowing the PG to take it directly to the hoop? There is a drawback to all ways of defending a pick and roll, that is why everyone runs it!

I'd love to hear solutions instead of complaints....

You don't expect people to actually THINK about what they're complaining about do you?

We switched screens the entire 3rd quarter tonight and held them to 10 points.

Same strategy, different result.

I did notice that we were really getting killed on the boards in the 4th without Camby in there, and of course the defense still doesn't seem to know what they are doing. I KNOW that Scola killed us in our first game with them because he makes wide open shots at a 90% clip and yet here he was again wide open time and time again. And while I'm ranting, did you notice that the other team, even with a lot of young guys can put together two and three really good, QUICK, passes together; and i never see that from the Blazers; you can only hope for one good pass.

Camby was ill, not feeling well according to Nate.

Anyways bottom line is we suck.

The key to understanding Nate McMillan is that he is a SLOW thinker. He thinks he has designed inside plays, but he has them execute them so slowly with no sharpness that every single designed play always fails.
