Claiming hes innocent of everything. ROTFLMAO

Where's Selig? Arod is not good for baseball and Selig is absolute poison to baseball.

Selig is a bigger piece of garbage than any of the players involved in this current situation.

I guess the next step is the courts. Selig is going to have to appear in that one I think.

I don't understand Selig's actions at this point. Regardless of anything Arod has the right to be very upset.

...so let me get this straight, ARod is mad because Selig is not compelled to testify...but just this past week ARod himself declined to testify and that's OK?

...at least Selig didn't claim to have the "flu".

I just want this over one way or the other. Will he be suspended or not? Let's move on with this and find out if the Yanks can spend his money or not. Jeez...

I disagree with this statement... Selig has MANY flaws... but A-Rod thinks he's above baseball...

Going back to what we use to know about baseball. That no one person is bigger than the game, and that includes Arod. What I find funny is that the arbitrator was chosen by the players union as well as MLB. Why isn't Arod knocking his own union if he isn't happy with the arbitrator. It was the arbitrators ruling, not mlb's.

...I think ARod has exhibited multiple times that he is in a world of his own. It's all about him.

The problem is that baseball doesn't handle things properly. Suspend him for the number Braun got and be done with it.

...I think ARod needs to stop this "I'm innocent" bullshit and take his suspension and be done with it. Could MLB have handled some things differently?...sure, but all things considered, I don't think ARod is being treated unfairly at all. He is the one who has created this "shit storm" as I call it. He lied to us, he lied to the press, he lied to the Yanx, and he continues to lie.
...Personally, I think Braun got off easy. But is there anyone out there who really believes ARod is innocent?...anyone?

...IMO, if ARod's suspension is reduced it will be for either 100 games or 162 games. But I won't be happy until he is no longer playing the game.

...something else, Arod's circus could very well hinder the Yanx desire to sign some much needed FAs...I mean if you were a FA, would want to come to a team with this much drama?

Again, if baseball didn't insist on an arbitrary number of games this might of been taken care of.

...c'mon...this is ARod we're talking about. He would have appealed even if he had been hot with 50 games.

...and fwiw, ARod and his legal team were already aware that Selig was not going to testify...yesterday was just a dog and pony show.

Agreed

there were multiple infractions though... hence multiple suspensions... I'm fine with the 211/lifetime for A-Rod
