OT Aaron Rodgers, a Class Act On and Off the Field......

Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

Thanx again Rick, I guess some kids just never grow up, or simply don't comprehend common language. To sophisticated for the Hi-Jacker. I have ZERO respect for repeating broken records......!!!

People need to hear more about these kind of acts. Not all athletes are money hungry bastards. Rogers is living proof of that.
Amen Brother.....!

Indeed in a age and era of Greed rules 1st, Rodgers is living proof he lives the other way around. With all those articles, I cannot say I've quit read so many articles or even heard as much of any one athlete doing so much for Kids, and anyone in need....! Amazing Guy.........

I have not been to a Sports Memorabilia Show in a very long time, yet I'd go out of my way to get Rodgers John Hancock...!

HERE WE GO AGAIN, DO YOU NOT PAY ATTENTION OR DID YOU NOT READ, DO NOT HI-JACK THIS THREAD IT IS RESERVED FOR Aaron Rodgers Humanitarian efforts. That I thought was perfectly clear...?

You obviously were not even sucking on a pacifier when Veeck or Finley were lighting up MLB Owners NOTE: PLURAL or more than half the damned league, and like I said O'Malley and Horace Stoneham certainly had some strong words for each other against both Teams. Obviously these Owners DID NOT go out for Dinner or drinks anytime if at all. Do you really think O'Malley was a Nun when Marichal broke his bat over Roseboro's head. We've already had this discussion, and sadly NOTHING HAS CHANGED......!

You know you are unique and one of a kind in several ways. You hi-jack threads to re-apply your ignorant questions upon people who have lived more than what you've ever read......NOTHING HAS CHANGED, AND YOU STILL INSULT OTHERS BY HI-JACKING, SAD SON SAD....!

2ndly, you insists on being right, NOTHING has changed....!

3rd- Your always asking others to do your Own Homework. If you don't know the answers to the Q's you ask, because you don't know the answers, then GOOGLE YOUR OWN HOMEWORK. IT'S IMPOLITE TO ASK OTHERS TO DO IT FOR YOU. I HAVE NOT SEEN THIS TREND REVERSE ITSELF, SINCE YOU CAME ABOARD. SO PLEASE CHILL OUT.....and take the sucker out of your mouth when you talk, gibberish is NOT spoken here, and there is NO Dictionary for Gibberish.....NOTHING HAS CHANGED....!

So you admit you can't, or are unwilling to provide (do YOUR homework) a similar remark, quote, comment from some other MLB owner comparable to Hank's.

Hey Matt, I respect you're opinion but this is a two way street.

And because I thought (in response to your post) that the difference between Gardner stealing 20something bases instead of 30,40 something bases is not as important as him improving on his .327 (2014) OBP and .256 BA?

Is this one of your issues? Sorry, I stand by it.

...I don't recall rick saying that...no one in their right mind would not want Gardner to get on base more often...than was never rick's contention, nor mine.
...rick simply pointed to the fact that when Gardner does get on base he turns into Rainman as far as being a base stealer. The frequency in which Gardner gets on base was never in question...the issue was that no matter how often he's on base, with his speed he could/should be a much better base stealer/runner.

Hey Matt, I respect you're opinion but this is a two way street.

Your quickly making this a ONE WAY Street, with your disrespectful hi-jacking of posts which have nothing to do with your Q's.....

and YES, You have always had a bad habit of asking others to do your own homework for you. Re-read the post. Then Google as much. I don't owe you any quotes, and believe it or not, I could write a Novel on how Veeck, Finley, Schatt, and numerous others lit up the other Owners, not just their bitter rivals alone, but the entirety of MLB.

What do you think the Owners thought, when the shot down Finley's request to use a glow in the dark chartreuse baseball, and how do you think Finley responded, after more than a dozen run ins with the other Owners????

It's also very impolite to ignore other Poster with valid Questions, like Rick's Post #30.....?????????

I AGREE, Gardner is definitely too timid and just doesn't seem willing to go often enough. I'm sorry I didn't say it earlier in the thread but I did mention it later on.

I like Gardy, fine young man, good hard nosed homegrown player. Excellent defender.
Gosh darn it...I just wish he would use his speed as a LH hitter and get more bunt hits, be a consistently better hitter and his K totals the past two years are not good.

Thanks for the input. I'm done! Okay? lol

I made the TV reference because of what Ron referred to blg as. You'll see what I mean when you see what show is on at that time.

Bwahahaha, I just checked the TV Menu..........Your right on the Money Buddy....!!! :biglaugh::biglaugh:

Holy shit! let it go dude. So what do think about the great thing Rogers is doing?

I think Rodgers is a good guy who is doing great things.
I would be proud to call him a friend of mine.
He's one of those people who don't need to be a star athlete to have a positive affect on others.....and he can QB for my team any day.

There you go.

He's no Brett Favre.
Your right, He's a helluva lot better than Favre. Favre if you forget was over anxious in the first 2/3rds of his career, and some would debate right to the end of it.

Didn't you see the post I put up some time ago, on the Stats of Rodgers and Favre's first 100 games. Rodgers led in every catagory other than INT Picks. IN fact Aaron had approx. 1/3 more TD, with 2/3rds less Picks.

More yardage, TD's, Yards, Passing Efficiency and QB ratings for these stats.....I'd take Rodgers any day over Favre, after all Brett didn't play every single game like his MNF game the game right after his Dad passed....

Your not stuck on that game alone are ya' Tote????

I bought one of these new stick deodorants, the instructions said to" remove cap & to push up bottom". Well, it hurts when I walk but when I fart the room smells wonderful.

TMI Ricardo.

My post was meant as humor. Read it again when your sober.

LMAO, so you used deodorant as a enema? I'll have to pass that on to my Elders, tell 'em it works just fine....with no odors....!!!

I've seen that FavREY / Rodgers comparison during a game early this season.
And it's clear Rodgers has the better numbers (after 100 games) and I agree on Rodgers over FavREY at this point of their careers.

FavREY = INT machine

Favre, 3 mvp's...in a row. He played with heart....Rodgers plays with no soul. And you can double check that.

Some forget who Rogers learned from. He's an excellent QB & is certainly heading in the right direction to a HOF career & may even surpass Farve one day. But honestly I don't think he's quite there yet.

Bottom line, after both of their first 100 games Rodgers' NUMBERS are better than Mr. INT Brett FavREY.
Favre is a HOF all time great QB and his all time stats are a result of his terrific durability and toughness....this does NOT make him necessarily a "better" QBs over some other HOF caliber QB who didn't have quite as long a career.

I happen to think Dan Fouts was every bit as good.
Which leads me to a couple of comments and questions related to your asking "who did Rodgers learn from"?

Firstly- a rookie/ young QB can "LEARN" a thing or two from a mere AVERAGE starting NFL QB.
Second- Maybe the most important thing Rodgers "LEARNED" from watching FavREY is how NOT to try and force passes into small windows and triple coverage. Lmao.
Third - who did FavREY "learn" from? lol
Fourth- Who did Marino "learn" from?
Fifth - Who did Brees "learn" from?

Lmao
