I dont hate Trump... I dont really hate anyone. As MLK said,

"I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear.'

I just don't at all think he lives by Christian principles. I think the... premise that he somehow does is not at all in agreement to how I see or read it... To each their own I guess.

Haha. Another faux Christian I guess
I consider myself a Christian and my wife and kids do to. Im far from a perfect straight and narrow Christian and Wife and kids are more devout than I am.
Christianity is different than many religions in that you do not need to make perfection or do enough good deeds to join the club.
There are other religions that require you reach a certain level before attaining whatever.
I like to take something from all religions and philosophies and filter it and get something good.
We shouldn't judge what one believes or refuse to interact, we are all part of the same humanity.
I dont agree with or like our current President but I wont bash someone constantly (unless its Hillary) lol, I do feel bad when I even bring her up and Ive discovered its easy to rag on someone unless you govern yourself.
It does get tiring listening to both sides bash one another and certain people. Im glad there are term limits for Presidents, now if there was for congress, it would produce more vitality which we need as a nation and community.

Hate is too great a burden to bare. No doubt about it.
Perhaps most Christians choose not to do so for just that reason. I see no reason not to join them. I suspect you would be welcome too.

As a libertarian and a follower of Christ, I find your post curious. Since being President, how exactly has the President violated everything Christian?
Can you really back up this assertion?

Why are we limiting it to "since being President?" Does Christianity absolve you of anything you did prior to winning elected office?

I find your question curious. When people voted for Trump, what did they have to go on besides his pre-Presidency actions and comments?

Anti life hypocrites want to take away health care from 20 million people in midst of a pandemic. What happened to the"something wonderful" with which Trump was going to replace ACA on day one? Was it lost in the mail along with the check Mexico sent to pay for the wall?
"Did I say day one? I meant day 1,462!"

Who says he hasn't accomplished anything?

Have you ever seen a president hounded, investigated, prosecuted, and otherwise antagonized - on so many levels - more than President Trump? I know I haven't I'd love to see a term where he can just get on getting on with the business of our country without all the incessant distractions.
I can say this, I've never seen a President more deserving of such hounding, investigations, prosecutions and and otherwise antagonizing. I've also never seen a President who was so successful at thwarting investigations.

Trump isn't a Christian, he just plays one on TV.
No, he's not a Christian. A Christian follows Christ's teachings of helping the disadvantaged.

Uh, helloooooo..........Bill Clinton anyone??? The Republicans spent 8 entire years hounding him on Whitewater, Vince Foster, a hummer from Monica, yada, yada, yada. They never let up. Trump’s getting off incredibly easy considering just how open his corruption is........and your memory sucks a hoagie.
Obama was also hounded non stop and is still hounded constantly.

Excuse me, but I asked when he violate a commandment. 2017, 18, 19, or already in 2020?

I almost always stay out of pure religious discussion. I'm an atheist and I see no profit in it....and that's the first time, in a long time, I've defined myself in any religious context

but you keep asking what Trump has done that goes against Christianity...well, let me take a crack at it and certainly christians can correct me if I have it wrong:

the fundamental tenant of christianity is to repent of your sins. Can't be one without doing the other. Trump's life is a litany of selfish, greedy, sociopathic, ego-driven sins. I don't think he's ever repented of a single one. To repent is the smallest, easiest step to take and all it requires is just a little humility and a little empathy for others you've sinned against. Trump can't do it because he has not one smidgen of either.

That is the opposite of Christianity, or at least it's supposed to be. But as we've seen over the last 3+ years, there's a hell of a lot of so-called christians who reject just about everything Christ stood for.

that has not surprised me a bit....I always knew that was the case. I guess I apologize to any real Christians that offends, but I'm talking about trump and his unwavering evangelical base

No, not stuck at all...just not interested at giving a troll what they crave.
Sorry, I don't recall this conversation. I'm sure I made the remark but I just don't recall the context. Must not have been a big deal.

Repenting for major sins is not only a hallmark of Christians is just plain healthy for anyone regardless of their religious beliefs. It regularly saves my marriage.

I'm an atheist raised in an observant Jewish home in a community overwhelmingly Christian, so I have seen religion from several angles. And I find it hard to imagine anyone more the epitome of the Seven Deadly Sins than Trump.

Now. We just don't know how the virus impacts early fetal development. I thinks it's very likely some research on animal models is going on right now, but as of now we just don't have data. So women might well conclude they don't want to take the risk of having a child right now. But ABM says not their choice, it's HIS choice. His and the "brothers", Republican governors and Trump. Because women are just too stupid to know what's best for themselves. Besides, they shouldn't have gotten themselves pregnant, right?

Well, that's putting it a little blunt, but you are essentially correct. It is the woman's choice. I would hope that she would take into account her partner's feelings as well as her doctor, her clergyman and perhaps others but it all boils down to the fact that, right or wrong, it's her body and her choice.
