Listen, Rudy is gone. If someone is Spanish and wants to play in Spain you can't force him to stay in Portland. Play, and play well for an entire NBA season including all the traveling isn't something you can do if you don't want to. Maybe they're still hoping he changes his mind but if he doesn't and that's his decision they'll have to respect that, just like the Grizz did with Navarro.
On the bright side, we'd have a roster-spot for either Mills or Dampier. We'd have Bayless getting more minutes backing-up both guard positions with Armon Johnson logging some minutes also. A 3.5-players rotation instead of 4-players which is something I thought should actualy be one of our goals this offseason (just thought we could get some added value in return...
I guess I also realize now why Cho said we lack shooting. hopefully, some of Rudy's minutes can go to Babbitt and hopefully he proves himself to be a better shooter than Martel (he probably isn't better than Rudy).
