I'm really not sure if "check" is how you pronounce the guy's name, but it is now. I will be officially referring to this dunk as Brandon's "Cheikh please" dunk:

He was a Laker draft pick for 5 seconds and got traded to DET for Maurice Evans...and now his career has come full circle

My favorite part of the dunk is when Brandon looks back at him with that nasty look, as if to say "how dare you even try to block my dunk."

Love it.

I didn't see this posted anywhere, but apparantly Brandon was a high-flier in high school until he just got labeled a dunker and he pulled back into what he is now.
How incredible would it be to see B-Roy bring out the old school Vince Carter in him and start hammering it down in people's faces!

Turns out Roy always had the ability to make rim-rattling plays like Monday nights. But he chose not to play that way for several years because he did so much of it in high school — to the point that he got labeled as nothing but an athlete who dunked all the time, which didn't sit well with him.

"My freshman, sophomore year ... all I wanted to do was dunk. I loved dunking," Roy said. "I got labeled as a slasher. People started saying, 'He can't really shoot. He can't really handle the ball. He's a high-flier.' But people would say, 'Those come a dime a dozen.' And I said, 'Well, let me try to add something that people don't have.' And that's when I started to develop the whole all-around thing. Because I said, 'Well, not many players are all-around.'"

A great read in The Columbian.

There's a longer video that gives a better angle, nice slow-mo actually, but when he's walking away he mouths, "WHAT!"

I completely forgot to watch Sports Center last night... did that make it in the top ten?

So was Brandon's look (pissed and upset) a glance at the defender for daring to get in his way or at the refs for not calling a foul?

Yeah, I couldn't believe there wasn't a fould called on it. The ref must have been in awe of the dunk like the rest of us and forgot to blow the whistle.

lower quality video, but better replay and no annoying music. At the end you get a good look at Roy starring down samb

this never gets old...
