Dan Marang brought it up. Should it happen? Will it?

Would be another Blazer in a long line of post season awards; I hadn't thought of that one before.

CJ most improved.
Stotts coach of the year
Neil executive of the year
Dame All-NBA
Aminu defensive team

Wow now that the Warriors might not break the record the NBA might not default Coach of the Year to Kerr. We really could be looking at a list like that, which is the most impressive collective we've had in years.

I can't see them giving it to someone on a team that is 20th in defense.

If we win 45 games, MULTIPLE people on this team better win some awards.

That and they listed Luke/Kerr separately on the ballot. Might split the Warriors vote. Would be a great way to win and those two get 2nd, 3rd. I can hear the bitching now and its pleasant.

Whether our guys win or not, it's nice to have them under at least somewhat serious consideration.

He might get a few votes, and that is good enough. At least he will be noticed.

Frankly, that would set him up for future votes, which would also be nice.

That's how reputations get started. Get a reputation as a lock down defender and you get more respect from the refs. That happened with Joel Przybilla. His PF/36 dropped from ~6 to ~4 when he became a starter.

So glad we got rid of Batum.
We wouldn't be in the playoffs with Batum in the starting lineup and no Henderson.
