...and over 80K each of the last two years. This despite having over 50% of their signed players in that period come from in state.

laughably, the article goes on to crack the Ducks rehashing and embellishing the Seastrunk stuff. Here is that section...
of course receipts and reported comments from the school & Lyles have Oregon buying a National package featuring 22 states worth of video, not just Seastrunk film. Lyles is also on record as not having ever lived with Seastrunk or having had a personal relationship with his Mom as he has been widely smeared. The article also omits the real reason why Auburn backed off of Lache. Reportedly there were recruiting violations during his official visit and the NCAA told them to stop recruiting him.
How surprising that this fine piece of Journalism comes from what appears to be the Alabama version of the Oregonian?

The use of recruiting services jumped to the forefront nationally this spring when it was revealed that Oregon paid Willie Lyles and his Complete Scouting Service $25,000 to provide video of running back Lache Seastrunk, who signed with the Ducks.
The NCAA is looking into Lyles' close relationship with Seastrunk and whether he had any undue influence over the running back. Lyles lived with Seastrunk, a high school star in Texas, at least on a part-time basis, during the recruiting process.
Auburn actively recruited Seastrunk, considered one of the top three high school running backs in the nation in the Class of 2010, but cooled on him and signed one of the other top back, Mike Dyer, who rushed for more than 1,000 yards in his freshman season for the Tigers.
