Now I know how the 2004 Red Sox felt, except~ they had fire in their eyes; whereas this year's Yankees seem to be keeping their lights on dim, conserving energy.

Once the game begins, how many pitches will Nestor throw before pulls him for a reliever?...I'm setting the over and under at 65 pitches.

Phillies beat San Delusionaliego in 5.
I don't want to see a (NL) team in the World Series who had a 87-75 W-L record, and finished 12 games behind the Pennant Winner.

MLBs 2022 playoff format is a bad joke!

Bernie throws out the first pitch. Bob Costas and Pedro Martinez talking how the 98 Yankees knew how to make contact with the ball, and put it in play, instead of swinging for the fences the majority of the time.
Geez is it that obvious? Everyone on this board has been saying that for a few years now!

Altuve looks lost without a banging drum to tip him off to the pitch type. He strikes out.

I really wish these commentators would stop with the talk about the Yanx doing what Boston did in '04 and come back from a 3 games to none deficit.

This Yanx team is nowhere near as good as Boston was in '04...and has NO chance to win 4 in a row vs Houston.

I'm absolutely shocked at how bad Judge has been in these playoffs.

And I would not be surprised if Cashman tries to use that as leverage in negotiations during the off season...and if he does, if I were Judge, I'd tell Cashman, "you know what?..fuck you...I'll play for the Giants next year." (or even worse, the Mets)

I'm absolutely shocked at how bad Judge has been in these playoffs.

He's probably going to see his Free Agent offers drop by a couple million dollars per year as a result, unless he catches fire and the Yanx win this LCS... IF!

Cortes walks 2, then gives up a three-run bomb to Peña.
Peralta in Relief continues to shit the bed!
Ass-tros 4
Yankees 3

Bottom of the 3rd

Like you said I'm just done with him and Cashman. I want them out of here.

Both Mattingly and Joe Maddon are available, and would be a major upgrade.
Now IF Jeter would be offered a GM job.

IKF strands one, strikes out swinging at garbage bouncing in the dirt.
