Because he's gotten slower and the NBAs gotten quicker.

I don't think this is a good fit. Even setting aside health concerns, why would he be interested in coming back to a mid-tier Blazers team?

And why would we want to clog our bench with an old mid-range jump shooting big man? I don't think he does anything especially well at this point and I don't see him suddenly getting better than he was for San Antonio last year.

agree...we need more young athletes to compliment the older guys we have.

And RoCo got backed down by the best PF in the game , cause he's too small. He gave it all he had, but doesn't have the size to defend the best of that position. He's a SF.
