So you make this claim but then backpedal? Make up your fucking mind. "TD swing out his arm" implies intent, yet here you are claiming "it wasn't safe". WTF is he supposed to do? Get down on his knees and suck pee pee?

Looks like I'm still waiting....

Seriously? Have you watched the video? It was a freak accident, LMA went up out of control and fell down on his ass out of control. There was no malice or intent on the behalf of either Duncan or Baynes.

Is my eyesight that bad or are you trolling?

Baynes clearly moves into him, trying to draw a charge. It just so happened LaMarcus landed poorly because of it. No intent, just bad positioning lead to an injury.

I agree. He ended up bumping/slightly undercutting LMA , but it was a combination of LMA's movements as well and just ended up being a freak accident. Looked painful to me, and probably some shock to the nerves but I'm sure it'll heal up quick and he'll be fine.

You know, I've never done this in the dozen or so years that I've posted on basketball forums, but ....

FUCK OFF!!!!

Seriously, a guy who literally busts his ass playing for the Blazers and you use this time when he's hurting to say something like this? Beyond belief.
Really? I don't see anything bad in what was said. Sinobas isn't wrong. LA was clearly slumping after getting back from his groin issue, and his play was hurting our team as we were going to him just as much as when he was fully healthy. Sucks that he got hurt, but if this forces him to stay out and come back only when he's at full strength, this might eventually become a positive.

People are entitled to differences of opinion regarding LA's contributions to the team. Calling him out about his play in this thread was tactless and stupid and, obviously, pissed me off.

LaMarcus certainly hadn't regained his timing and All-Star form after his injury, but if you think that him getting injured again, perhaps worse than before, is going to help him come back at full strength, I think you're way off target. It takes playing time to get that timing back and now he'll have to start all over again. The Blazers can probably hold things together against the lower tier teams they'll play in the next few games, but if LA's out for an extended time it's going to hurt our post season chances badly and if he doesn't get back soon enough for the team to get in a rhythm before the playoffs start, whatever chances the Blazers had of making noise this year are out the window.

And people are also entitled to not being told to fuck off because of a disagreement. Everyone is dealing with the realization that the Blazers are not WCF team. Virtually yelling at another frustrated fan is not how to handle it.

Haven't done it before and it's unlikely that I'll do it again. That said, if you don't get that a thread about LA's injury status isn't the place to call him out as being soft, I doubt we'll ever agree on much. It's not as though there aren't plenty of threads going where people can make that point.

That's how it looked to me as well. No intent, just bad luck.

LA at 50% > Any Blazer Bench Player

I disagree. I think LA isn't playing well right now and the team is slumping. I have full confidence that by the playoffs we'll be Red Hot & Rollin' once again.

Somebody on twitter last night said that the Portland Tribune had confirmed that LA had broken his tailbone. Pretty sure it was somebody from S2, lol...

Who the fuck is this tool coming on my forum calling people out?

Every post I've seen of his has had something questionable like that. Cat needs to chill...

I think he was saying LA wasn't healthy, and wasn't playing well because of it.

I guess this is Robinson and/or Leonard's chance to step forward and show something.

With Freeland out for the year and the playoffs (probably) looming, there's no better time for these lotto picks to step forward and show they've got something. At the very least they should be fresh.

Robinson and especially Leonard both have a lot to learn. I'd say, in their second years, they are both playing like rookies, albeit rookies with potential. The more minutes we can give them the better for their development and for the team's chances next season. Young bigs need time.

I want Robinson to Play in a manner that says... Hmmmm wonder what we could get for LA...:devilwink:
Seems to be the natural progression of the PF spot in Portland.
Either that or Lillard should ask the team to trade him a la Roy/Zach.

So a post like this doesn't equate as trolling?

That was either a personal attack or Denny hijacking his account because it is his forum afterall.

I have had a very similar fall to the one LA took on the court but mine was playing outdoor full court in Hawaii on concrete. It'll heal but give him limited movement for a long stretch. Not sure what Joel Freeland's status is but has anyone else notice how much he's been missed since his injury? I hope LaMarcus did not sustain a deep bruise on the tailbone. TRob and Meyers are learning on the fly and together they can develop a decent frontcourt off the bench. Sort of photo negatives of each other.

I want TRob to play 40 minutes. A lot of good comes with his bad! Unleash him!

The problem with that idea is for TRob to play 40 minutes, the NBA would have to expand the number of personal fouls to nine from six.

I hope you're right!! I need some of your new found optimism. =]
