You can't tell like Raymond Felton, but despite LMA's dunking over KG and scoring 17 points in the first half tonight he seems outta shape so far this season. It's the worst part of being injured in the offseason, not being able to train, practice.

We talking about practice!?

LMA needs some health, along with some serious practice in the low post. He's like Batum, amazing at times but very inconsistent. Watching him tonight proves he's got the capability, all he's missing is the fire of a hall-a-famer like KG.

And health.

KG is so skilled in the post, he's the absolute prototypical PF, amazingly smooth on offense and an animal on the boards.

And how old is he? Definitely the best power forward of the last decade.

Garnett is still 3 times as good as Aldridge, who is at his peak age right now. It's all downhill from here for Aldridge.

Aldridge had 23 points and 8 rebounds in three quarters tonight. KG had 10 & 5.

No Duncan's the best. And I might put Dirk, who has a Finals MVP, ahead of KG.

LMA is about 2-3 months behind on his normal routine, given the lack of mobility he had from the hip surgery. Yes, he's out of shape. He has a reason.

Aldridge, who is at his peak age right now.
Aldridge has always been slow. Slow to take the reigns, slow to reach his potential. The bright side is that he's durable, and still growing his game, he's sure to last and the opposite of say a Greg Oden.

Aldridge played 33 minutes in the game. 0 assists, 5 turnovers. Garnett played 23 minutes in the blowout. 4 assists, 2 turnovers. Garnett is more than just a scorer.

So he just needs to get in shape and get a new personality and then we're set.

Duncan maybe, but I don't consider Dirk a prototypical forward. And Garnett owns both on D.

Posts like this just show how underrated duncan is. KG is a better help defender but wasnt as good of a post defender. KG was also flashier at both sides of the court. KG has to get massive credit for the fact his defense hasnt fallen off a cliff with his injuries and age. Duncans has fallen a lot farther then KGs but in there prime it was 1a and 1b as to who was the best defensive pf in the game.

Its all LAs fault. If only he had worked harder to come back from surgery faster then his back would be in better shape and wouldnt collapse when he tries to put the blazers on his back.
