I'm on your side, H. It doesn't matter who says it, if anyone says anything negative about LaMarcus, the self-congratulatory hive mind in here starts screaming, "See? See? I told you!"

Quite impressive
The echo chamber in here
Regardless of source

So will you find us
articles telling us how
he's a great teammate?

You're just stressing me out using big terms that I don't understand and have to go google.....like Echo Chamber!

We would 5 straight championships with him on our squad that we have right now. It would never happen, but you wouldn't take him back for that?

How so though? We couldn't win with him and he had a damned good team. If he came back, guys like Aminu, Davis, Harkless would see less minutes and I question whether they would play as well. I don't know if you can win with LMA, regardless of the roster. A cancer is a cancer and he isn't team first, so he wouldn't fit in and we wouldn't play as well as a team.

If Dame said he would welcome him back, I would be okay with it.

Nobody knows more about how he was behind the scenes.

I seriously doubt we would be able to offer the best deal for him anyway.

I don't think he cares. He's extremely self centered.

Oh, I think he cares that he no longer has a coach who's willing to put up with his foibles; who doesn't design the offense around him so that he can get his stats even if they are obtained in a horribly inefficient manner. I think he cares that he's going to be exposed as not being someone that a team like the Spurs is willing to keep as a successor to certain Hall-of-Famers like Duncan and Robinson. He could have had a place in the Blazers' record books like he talked about before he spurned the team and took the offer from San Antonio. Now he'll be remembered as the guy who couldn't cut it in the Spurs' system.

So glorious. Best case scenario for how this could have played out. No championship. Duncan retires. Aldridge shows his true colors.

Haha Aldridge and Turner added to a 23 win squad wins 5 straight championships? Ugh. You really know nothing. Aldridge sucks. The reason we're good now is because he is gone.

Lol LA and alpha in the same sentence

And it sounds like a childrens story
"The Beta that wanted to be an Alpha"

After years of trying to be a leader and take control, the poor LMABeta comes to the understanding that it is best not to be who you aren't, but to be who you are, and the proud Beat(fish?) swims away happily flapping his fins knowing he doenst have to be an Alpha... he can just swim off with the rest of the Beta school.

When he was hot, he was really hot. No doubt about it.

Problem was he slowed the team down so much it hurt us. I prefer the faster pace and better ball movement we have now.
