Oh, I think he cares that he no longer has a coach who's unwilling to put up with his foibles; who doesn't design the offense around him so that he can get his stats even if they are obtained in a horribly inefficient manner. I think he cares that he's going to be exposed as not being someone that a team like the Spurs is willing to keep as a successor to certain Hall-of-Famers like Duncan and Robinson. He could have had a place in the Blazers' record books like he talked about before he spurned the team and took the offer from San Antonio. Now he'll be remembered as the guy who couldn't cut it in the Spurs' system.
