Yes, Costas did say the Yankees haven't won it since the Joe Torre three-peat of 2000.
Bob Costas needs to go silent, or retire, or let the game play itself out at times, without thinking he has to educate everybody. According to him he's seen it all he's done it all, and I think the world is tired of Him.

Costas also said that the Indians brought "the tying run to the plate" in that last inning...but the score was 5-1 with only 2 runners on base...bad math, Bob.

But I still find it funny that Francesa, of all people, said that Costas talks too much.
