<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (NetsDaily)</div><div class='quotemain'>West Virginia’s Joe Alexander and Georgetown’s Roy Hibbert wowed the Nets Friday with their athleticism (Alexander) and fundamentals (Hibbert). Despite being tired, Alexander put his elbow in the rim more than once. The Nets have five players in mind at #10, but won’t name them. Everyone agrees Danilo Gallinari, Brook Lopez, and Russell Westbrook are on the list…but who else?</div>

Kentrell Gransberry. Shit. If we picked him, I would hate on him more than I've ever hated on Boki, Marcus, and Malik Allen combined. I hate that face piece of lard so much. Hate hate hate.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Dave D.)</div><div class='quotemain'>As for the vertical, check out these numbers: Without a step, he [Alexander] can reach 11 feet, 6½ inches. With a step, 12 feet. That's from a 6-8 kid with an 83-inch wingspan.</div>
Anyways, good to see Alexander and Hibbert do good - Hibbert because I definitely want him, and Alexander because I'd hate him less than the Lopez twins.
BTW - something interesting I noticed - while he's a senior, Hibbert's still only 21. He's actually only 15 days older than Alexander, despite Alexander being a junior.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>"Probably five or so, we think can realistically can get to us," Kiki repeated. "You're going to see some guys who obviously will not get to us, and you kind of cross those guys off. But this is an extremely deep draft."</div>
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Dave D.)</div><div class='quotemain'>Here are the five we'll go with:
Danilo Gallinari, Brook Lopez, Russell Westbrook, Joe Alexander, and - if something really, really weird happens - Eric Gordon.
That would be the only other guard he could be referring to, anyway.
D.J. Augustin? No chance. Didn't work him out, and you can't sell '08 Draft as giant step forward for this franchise by bringing in a smurf.</div><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Al)</div><div class='quotemain'>Our guess is Gallinari, Brook Lopez, Robin Lopez, Russell Westbrook " although Vandeweghe thinks he’ll be gone " and perhaps Alexander or D.J. Augustin. Then there are the wild cards as in who drops such as Mayo, Gordon or Bayless. (The Nets would love if any of them are there, especially Gordon, yet at this point it doesn’t seem likely. But you can’t say never.)</div>
I don't get why Gordon would be there. And I don't see why Augustin's height is that big of a deal. Nonetheless, he's a great shooter, and a smart player. He would help out our team instantly IMO.
But if Robin Lopez is on the list, and/or Brook drops to 10, I'll be extremely pissed. He's got bust/Frye written all over him.
Oh, and I really doubt Gordon or Mayo drops to us, but that'd be pretty sweet if they did.
