In general, ring chasers go to rosters where the focus of the GM was to obtain 2-3 all-nba players with the understanding it would mean minimal depth. Our strategy is to have 1 all-nba player and 9 solid players around him. This strategy is going to put us at a major disadvantage in the buyout market as we won't have an obvious role for them to fill.

So far in two games he's averaging 11 ppg, 6 rebounds, 3.5 assists (this will come down) and he's shooting 45% from the field and 100% from three on 2 attempts.

Meanwhile, Kanter is averaging 12 ppg, 11.6 rebounds per game, and shooting 60% from the field.

I'd rather have Kanter.

He doesn't shoot a lot of threes, so all you're getting is long range twos. I'd rather have Kanter shooting 60% from up close. Kanter rebounds better. Their passing is a wash.
