We came into their house, invaders not given a second thought. Resilient, determined and inspired we stole faith and heart. Not settled to leave with scraps of victory incomplete we sought to plunder all there was to be had, to dominate and befoul all they knew to be good. Now the sanctity of their confidence shattered, the will of their supporters defiled, we head home knowing the sweet joy of the conquering heros.

Home…and they will come. Not as invited guests but as broken, wounded animals, desperation in their eyes seeking any remaining chance at redemption. It cannot be so. For in this shrine, none can hear the prayers to gods so far removed from them. The roar of our support and the might of our will transcends any hope would-be thieves might wish for here. No, we shall turn back these vagrants and forcefully remove them from our presence knowing no salvation, redemption denied. Not before, I think, we make them bare witness to the ushering of a new era…Reborn is Rip City!

"Broken wounded animals." I love it. Did you write that?

I did...feeling a bit inspired this morning in the glow of last nights victory :D

I like it! "broken, wounded animals" I believe you need a comma between multiple adjectives.

How much do you want to bet Mark Jackson and the rest of the Warriors watched that game and said to themselves, "Now, that's how we should have approached a Game Two."?

A wounded animal is a dangerous animal. Unpredictable and desperate... Game 3 is huge, Portland's got to go in for the kill.

Can someone fix the spelling error in the thread title? Quoting Dan Quayle, "You forgot the 'e'".

Oh Noz I did miss an E.....

(I can't apparently edit the thread title)

If you could pick, what music would you use to introduce the team in tonight's game?

I have an intro I'd like to suggest for Game Four, but only if we win tonight. I don't want to jinx it.

not to be a downer but "conquering heroes" come home having won wars, we won a few battles which is very nice but lets stay hopeful, humble, and focused and not get ahead of ourselves

Enter Sandman.

'Cause
We're the beast under their bed,
In their closet,
IN THEIR HEAD!

And it's lights out, baby!!

Plus, you know, it's an awesome song. :)

I think it should be this. All the youngin's like it on the team.

I changed my mind.

Actually, now that I think of it I'd go with something like this before the game:

Damn these are some good options...minus you sheedfan, not sure we roll redneck for homecoming celebration :p ACDC is a classy choice (not sure classy and ACDC have been in the same sentence before...) but Im diggin SR-71. I like "I'm comin home" IF we were having to go back to Houston and we win it out there (Stoopid 9/11 and TSA regulations...I remember the returning Blazer1 plane in the 90's and the fans in the airfield greeting and cheering them off the plane...just cant do that stuff anymore). I'd love to see a Montage of assists and 'team' plays to "Hey Brother" by Avicii....but even the club-remix's don't seem to 'rock' hard enough for the energy we'd see tonight.

Some Prehistoric Dog would rock it for sure :p (0:55 starts up the rock)

....*sings while head banging* "Tiiiiiime to kiss your ass goooooood bye!"
