Sweet Betty's in Gresham is good.

For chains I prefer Black Bear Diner.

Sweet Betty's is great yes.

Black bear diner went downhill fast. From really good to barely above dennys.

Black Bear for breakfast is decent but feels like their food really has gone downhill in the past few years. Could be the rapid expansion they've done, hell we have one that just opened up around the corner from my house down here in South Texas.

I agree - although I will still eat breakfast there the dinners are just so-so to me.

Agree 100% ... their breakfast is still very solid, though it's hard to mess up breakfast even though many places still find a way to do it. Anything off their non-breakfast menu is a pass for me!

It's not bad like a Denny's or iHop but not exactly great either. My in-laws like going to iHop and I'm trying desperately to get her family to switch over to BBD!

Red Lion Inn in Vancouver on the river used to have a really good weekend brunch. Not quite Saltys level but good

The ex and I used to eat at the one on SE Stark near Mall 205 back in the day. Tried it again just before it closed down several years ago and was not surprised that it closed based on that experience.
