Why is that a good argument to discount the stats? Averages are averages of a whole and AS selection should be based on the whole not just the recent, same with all NBA.

Didn't say it was an argument -I- would make... it's more just a theory. I just stated it as fact, which I shouldn't have.

I remember other people from other fanbases saying exactly the same thing about Brandon Roy when he was getting to the AS game based on good (but not necessarily great) stats and a good winning percentage.
