Harden, Kobe, Curry, Klay, Wes, Damian, Conley, Parker, Westbrook, Dragic, Bledsoe, Ellis, Paul, Lin

I figure 6 of these guys make it. If Kobe doesn't get voted in (doubtful but possible since Harden/Curry have a shot), do the coaches pick him? Presumably Kobe does get voted in, these are my 6:

Harden, Kobe, Curry, Damian, Conley, Paul.

Tough to leave off Westbrook but he was out a month. And Parker just doesn't compare statistically to Dame, Paul, and Curry. Maybe pick Parker over Conley but if Memphis stays in first place, he's hard to leave out.

What are your six?

You are dead on. I would like to add I wish Dame or Aldridge don't get in. Could you imagine the LaMonster a Killard beast that would be let out for such a snub?!?!?
 
I like your list with one other possibility.

As much as I hate to say if Westbrook comes back rips shit up until the break he will get in anyway and it will probably be in place of with Conley or Dame depending on the 2 players records

Curry, Kobe, Lin (Most likely a starter, as sad as that is), Dame, Klay, Ellis/Conley (Depending on who keeps it up)
 
Dame will claim injury at the last moment opening the door for Wes to play.

Don't understimate what would happen if Westbrook is beasting on the Thunder to put them in a good spot for when Durant comes back.

We all need to start thinking about the fact that Dame might end up getting screwed. As mags said it might be a good thing if he is...well not for the rest of the league.

Dame is 3rd in the entire NBA in PER among point guards. Only Curry and Paul are better.

lin could never make a shot the whole first half of the season and he's starting.

plus, the average fan doesn't give a shit about per. they care about hpm and cpm. highlights per minute and commercials per minute. or, be from china and be named jeremy lin.
 
20,7, 5 on 46/42/88 is just nuts. The boy is ballin. I want him to sustain that FG pct

Lin isn't starting. Why would he get 400,000 minutes more votes this year? Kobe didn't even have the most votes at guard last year. Curry did. Lin was 4th. Lakers Fans don't like him that much. And PER probably does matter when coaches choose reserves.

And Lillard has more commercials than Curry or Kobe or Lin. And is on the cover of NBA Live. And appeared on Conan. And had THE highlight of the playoffs.

Really? Kobe? Really? It's okay, man... I hate Kobe too, but he's had WAY more commercials, WAY more tv appearances, and most likely, way more NBA video game appearances.

Just accept it, Lillard still has to fight for his spot. Is that such a bad thing?
 
Usually, the team with the best record gets at least 2 all stars. Coaches put a premium on winning (it's what keeps them employed), even if fans don't.

Than means at least one of MEM and GSW, possibly both, will get 2 all stars.

For MEM, that would be Gasol and Conley. For GSW, that means Curry and Klay. That potentially eats up three guard spots right there, combined with wacky fan voting (look for Kobe to get voted in, he's leading the league in scoring and, thanks to the Chinese, was still 3rd in jersey sales in 2014 even though he only played six games), Lillard may be odd man out - but may get in as an injury replacement. Hard to say. A lot of ball to be played between now and when the coaches name the non-starters.

Unfortunately for Wes, unless we pass both MEM and GSW and are running away with the West, there's no way Wes makes the team. At best, we'll get two all stars, no starters, and those two would be Aldridge and Lillard.
