This is good, but it doesn't take into account the Utah/GSW game tonight or the OKC game tomorrow. It appears that it's assumed that Utah & OKC win their respective games.

If GS loses tonight in Utah, they will guarantee that they won't play Utah or OKC in the first round, two teams they have struggled against.
They will face either Minny/Den/Spurs/Pelicans
Guessing they're gonna tank.
Here's an official one in case people are skeptical about tie breakers, etc

No, the blazers don't have home court guaranteed even with the 3rd seed. There is a scenario where both SA and Portland have 48 wins, Portland is the 3, SA is the 6, and SA has home court
What? HCA is not guarenteed for the Blazers at tbis point, but I dont see such a scenario. Portland won't have 3rd with 48 wins. The best they can have is 4th.
I've stayed up all night for this.

A simple task that was never accomplished. I mean what are the odds going 0-5?lol. All we had to do was win one game in the last week and a half.
Yea you're right, but they could be 4th and not have home court
Jazz 3rd PDX 4th SA 5th all with 48 wins
Not true. OKC would have to lose to Memphis.Really it comes down to whether we win or lose against the Jazz and whether the Spurs win/lose against the Pelicans. If we lose and Spurs win its 5th place for us and a trip back to SA
Because if OKC is involved in the tie, our 4-0 record against OKC helps give us the best head to head record between the 3 teams. With the second and third scenarios where SAS win and we lose...how are we 4th? Spurs own the tiebreaker after they owned our ass saturday.
OKC. If they win, it is three way tie. We have best head to head record between the three teams. How does Por get 4th if both SAS and Jazz win I'm confused
Not trueYea you're right, but they could be 4th and not have home court
No. Not true. If Portland is 3, they have 49 wins. No, the blazers don't have home court guaranteed even with the 3rd seed. There is a scenario where both SA and Portland have 48 wins, Portland is the 3, SA is the 6, and SA has home court

That is correct. So we have Home court unless OKC loses and SA wins?
If that’s determined before the game tomorrow, and we get HC, we should rest everyone (aka Dame CJ and Nurk)
And OKC wants to win. If they lose, there are scenarios in which they fall to 8th.Cool thanks. I love the fact that if OKC beats Memphis there's no scenario in which we'd slide all the way to fifth.
To get HCA without beating Utah, yes BUT if we win and Denver and NO win but OKC loses, we get 3 seed of course and we get to play Denver in first round which would be awesome. But we have to beat Utah for that to happen. Now I have to root for OKC?!? GROSS!
