We live in an unsettled world. Where do your fears lie?

The China/Russia/N.Korea 3 headed monster

China and it isn't even close.

They hold a ton of US debt.

They are basically economically colonizing the world. From building islands to extend their territory in the South China Seas, to building infrastructure in the 3rd World, Africa, South America, etc. They will be unstoppable. They will OWN these territories.

I also believe they will eventually commit mass genocide or other forms of population control.

They are doing this slowly and quietly. They are very patient and they are ruthless.

And you didn't even mention Panda Express!!!!!

Pakistan.

They have nukes.

They have nukes and they are paranoid about us.

They have nukes and they are paranoid about us so they move them around the country in unmarked semi-trucks out of fear that we will destroy them.

Wouldn't take much for one of those nukes to be stolen by someone.

Wouldn't take much for one of those nukes to be stolen by someone and that nuke find it's way on a cargo ship to the USA.

USA port city.... BOOM!

And Pakistan continues to sell their How To Build Nukes For Dummies book to countries like North Korea, Iran, and Saudi Arabia.

None. My only fears are about not living life right. Not teaching my kids to love others. Not loving my wife. Not reaching out to others when they need it.

I dont want violence and there are many countries including ours who are very capable of dishing out death in great numbers. I see no reason to fear what another country may do to me, to my children, to my friends and family.

All I see is that life is a fragile thing, and eventually we will all perish, and Id rather spend my time loving the life I have and the people I get to be around then afraid that it will eventually end in one way or another.

All empires fall eventually.

Right now USA because they have the least stable leadership. What I dread is the Chinese North Korean Russian Iranian Pakistani African Latin American alliance that our unstable leadership has blustered into existence.

USA leading the way! :lovemenot:

We are the only one to have dropped the bomb.

We have started two wars, still ongoing, against wrong countries in the past 20 years

We have the highest global military spending by far

We have an epidemic of gun violence

We have no professional respected established military or intelligence officers in place as of right now.

We have or are in the process of backing out of major treaties that foster peace and cooperation

Our stable genius leader is frightfully neither.

And he doesn’t read his daily intelligence briefings (see Bush, George, “al qaeda determined to strike in us”)

So yeah, it’s us, by a wide margin.

The US. Because if we acted appropriately and just did the right things I wouldn’t fear outside nations acting with hostility towards us and if they did, a quarter of our military would handle it.

Your question asks about nations, plural, but your selection only allows for one.

I would go for Russia and China but I'm not allowed that latitude.

The absolute biggest threat to us as Americans is our own government. Period.

They have eroded our freedoms and they will continue to do so.

Because my kind are usually one or two and-then-they-came-for's behind the racial scapegoat in the Work Will Make You Free sweepstakes, I'm kind of most afraid of my own country right now.

When the US goes somewhere, they never leave....we're still in N Korea after all these years and in Germany. We also seem to have no problem sending SEAL teams into sovereign nations and killing their guests or leaders.

N. Korea? Nobody's in N. Korea except North Koreans led by an ugly looking mad man.

Well, if we'd just get that border wall up, we could say the same thing. ;)
As has been explained maybe a Million times, a border Wall does very little to secure our border. The same money could be much much more effectively spent securing our border in other ways.

Your goat, he got it! :)

Good grief, Lanny. Do you always need green font when someone is obviously joking? Or did you think that a Trump supporter would compare him to Korea's little mad man?

Landmines!

As I've said before, I tend to take people at their word unless they clarify otherwise. That's just the way I am and it means that occasionally I get taken advantage of. Yep, I'm an easy mark.

Nothing wrong with being a straight-shooter, but it does tend to mess with my punchline delivery.

I mostly fear small countries with with large oil reserves and marginally effective militaries.
