This is a pretty cool map. You have to zoom in on the portland metro area yourself though. It shows high income and high education by zipcode. Points go to the burbs on this one!

What's a good favorite old school burbs spot to go? Last year I had my bday dinner at Golden Crown in Beaverton. Brought back so many good memories of the past, fucking love that place. Might do that again...or thinking of somewhere else.

The Old Spaghetti Factory on the water is also a good old school spot.

Anyone ever go to "Royal Panda" in Bridgeport? I used to go when it was at Washington Square Too....

I went to Sayler's in Portland earlier this year, it was really bomb. The Relish plate, the sourdough bread, the onion rings, the mushroom sauce...

I loved growing up in Portland and Oregon. So fucking great. Burb life was dope....bored weekdays in the summer driving around the back country roads bumping some NWA. hah

That was usually the last stop for us. Once the bars closed and we weren't ready to call it a night, we'd stop there, especially in our pre-21 days. It was one of the few places that often still had a big crowd after 2am.

Later, we made Rigoberto's on McLouglin our end-of-night capper. Dirty mex, 24 hours per day? Sign me up.

PORTLAND, Ore. — The Portland Timbers today unveiled the new, state-of-the-art adidas Timbers Training Center in Beaverton, Ore., as the team conducted its first training session at the new site. Constructed as part of a 10-year partnership with Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District (THPRD), the $6 million adidas Timbers Training Center will be the primary on-field training ground for the Major League Soccer club, complementing the first-class training and fitness facilities already in place at JELD-WEN Field.

The training center, located on THPRD property in Beaverton approximately 10 minutes from JELD-WEN Field, includes a new natural-grass field to be used exclusively by the Timbers and a synthetic, FieldTurf field designated for public use.
