Aww man, this season Nic's gonna beat my childhood favorite, Uncle Cliffy!

Anyone else surprised to see Matthews so high on the list already?

With over 10,000 points for us, i thought Paxson would have been up there.

With all your vast hoops knowledge, I would've thought you would've known that nobody shot tons of 3s in the 80s. Paxson never shot more than 100 3's in a season.

For reference, as of the last year that Paxson was in Portland (1988), Bird was the NBA all time leader in 3's attempted at 1206. Matthews has attempted 1232 in 4 years. It's a completely different game now than 25 years ago.

Surely you can fit a longer graphic onto a TV screen...

#116 Sean Marks
#91 Will Barton
#87 (tie) Elliot Williams and Jonny Flynn
#37 Sergio
#35 Jim Paxson
#27 Babbitt
#21 Lillard
#20 Outlaw
#9 Rudy
#8 Webster
#7 Steve Blake

Lillard is only 20 made threes short of winning the Outlaw Trophy, 149 to 169.

...I can't wait for Lillard to top that list in 7-8 years!

There were a couple years (when Frye was here) where LMA tried his hand at long-distance shooting.

EDIT: http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/a/aldrila01.html

He's shot 13 this year alone! Seems like just bailout stuff, last second shots. Both those makes this year were clutch as hell though.

I am glad he made a couple of clutch ones but the stats seem to point out that he should not be taking these. And I not just talking about this year.

He shouldn't be the guy scripted to take these, but the last couple he made were desperation shots after some serious scrambling, lol...

Yeah, but who has Missed the most? (The Rank is 3P made)

Lillard only needs 18 more to surpass Curry's rookie record.

True testament to how much the game has changed: Tracy Murray and Walt Williams are surprisingly low while Babbit and Gerald Wallace make the list and didn't play all that much.
