Should we match Brooklyn's offer sheet for Allen Crabbe?

We will have no cap space in the next 3 years, so I think you have to match. He's a good enough asset that you could trade him down the road. The only difference between 4/55 and 4/75 is to Paul Allen. If he's willing to pay him then you keep him

S&T pretty much an impossibility now that we've got no room below the cap, right?

From everything I see, people are saying Crabbe should be matched. Interesting.

Do they wait the three days to match?
Ideally, but if we need his cap space and aren't going to match, renounce him. That is, if we're ready to immediately sign someone with his cap hold.

When you make that much money, who cares if you start? You are already set for life. You don't need to play for your next contract, not at least for 4 years. Besides even if he was promised a starting job on a shitty team, it doesn't mean he will get the starting position forever.

Nets don't have anyone I'd want outside McCullough but we don't need any more bigs. Enjoy the losing Allen.

Yah the more I think about it, the less I want to match. I just hope we can replace his shooting somehow. Mclemore would be dope but Divac is a fucking idiot he'll probably ask for CJ.

so next summer we need to sign CJ to an extension which is going to be a big one I assume. We can get into scary Luxury Tax problems real quick. Luckily I don't write those checks!

Got to march we can't lose the shooting. Even if it's just a sign and trade.

My issue is more with lack of roster flexibility and handcuffing us on possible moves. I don't care about saving PA money when he's about to rake in piles of it with this TV deal (the national one, not Comcast)

Bottom line is, Crabbe played for peanuts here and didn't crack the starting rotation except as an injury sub...he has a chance to be in a larger role and if that's what he wants, he's earned it and I wish him well. Class act...no complaints about him.
