Going through numbers, AC's 3rd season is VERY similar to JJ Redick's 5th season. JJ was a bench player until he got to LA, but he was getting consistently between 25-30 mpg every season after he broke into the rotation. His rise to one of the premier shooters and guards now has been a direct function of his increased efficiency. He went from a 39-41 % 3pt shooter to now a nearly 48% 3pt shooter in his 10th year.

Similar to AC, JJ didn't play much his first few seasons. But if AC can become what JJ has become with 14-16 ppg on amazing efficiency on a team where he won't get too much volume, I think AC will be worth that contract.
