Amidst all of the escalating global conflict, and with the increasing international fan base the Blazers have, I wanted to stop by and wish/hope for the safety and well being for all, both mentally and physically. War isn't always about the effects through death snd body count, but the mental battles one must face is simply unfathomable. The potential internal battle of a soldier’s moral conflict, within the orders to do something they may not agree is right.
The mental fortitude it requires to hold steadfast, knowing your own people may not approve of your actions.
The absolute fear of civilians within the vicinity of attacks. The complete upheaval of families’ lives.
I could go on and on and on.
War is never a good thing. Violence is never a good thing. War should be the last resort, after all diplomatic options have been exhausted, there is still an imminent threat and it has gone through the proper channels of congressional approval.
What we, as Americans(born and raised), by and large fail to understand is just how fragile our system is. We are not under attack. There are not bombs going off across anyones town. There are not shreaking bomb syrens and destroyed buildings in the streets. And if we think we, as Americans, can relate because we watch film footage on tv? We are absolutely fooling ourselves into thinking we understand the absolute devastation war puts on all victims of all sides.
My thoughts and prayers go out to those that will suffer, as global conflict seemingly continues to escelate. We all bleed red. No matter what political, philosophical or economical viewpoints one has. No matter ones race, color, language, sex or sexual preference, we all bleed red.
Stay safe. Communicate and get to know thy neighbor. Build positive bonds with those who you respect, love and care for and remind them of their importance in your life.
Life is short. War is real.
I love you all.
